Wedding Cake Consultations
AN OVERVIEW:
It helps to plan ahead when it comes to your wedding cake. You should schedule your consultation 3-4 months prior to your wedding date. If your wedding is more than 4 months away, and your are absolutely positive that you will be using Sam's Cake Company for your cake services then you may place your order along with a $100 non-refundable deposit towards our services. However, please be advised that your consultation should be no less than 3 months prior to your wedding date.
HOW TO REQUEST A CONSULTATION:
To begin the consultation process please CLICK HERE to fill out a consultation request form so that we can be prepared to better serve you. The consultation form provides us with basic information that will help us determine which of our services you would like to take advantage of. Sam's Cake Company will reply to all consultation requests by email or by phone to confirm your appointment. Please note that if you have not recieved a reply then your appointment has NOT been confirmed.
DETAILS OF THE CONSULTATION:
At the consultation, please plan on spending 30 minutes to taste the cake selections and look through our books, or discuss pictures and ideas that you have in mind. After the initial consultation, if your choose to leave a deposit we will move on to the second part of the consultation where we can discuss the details of the cake, and exactly what we can do to make it the wedding cake of your dreams. For those who choose not to leave a depsit, we will keep the paperwork from the initial meeting for 3 weeks after the day of the consultation. Anytime during that 3 week period you may leave your deposit, and we can move on to the second part of the consultation. If no deposit is made during the 3 weeks holding period, we will assume that you have chosen another vender for your cake, and will remove your paperwork from our files.
LOCATION:
All of our concultations are held at the Gilbert A. Daniel Company office in the building behind Gilberto's Restaurant. If you need directions to our office please call (903) 644 - 6535. If you are running late please call us as soon as possible to let us know because we may have to reschedule your appointment. If you have more questions after your consultation you may schedule another appointment to meet with us. Please note that the follow up appointment must be scheduled 1 week in advance to the date you would like to meet. We regret that we are unable to accomodate walk-in appointments at this time.
